I am too thrilled that Sam Fine, the man behind such beautiful faces Mo'Nique, Queen Latifah, Tyra Banks and Jennifer Hudson to name a few, sat down and talked to myss moxie and offered some makeup tips! Thanks Sam!!!!

There are some songs that I hear that literally take me to another place, the Avila Brothers' "I Want You" is one of those songs. These dudes are so freaking underrated its ridiculous. However, I always got something up my sleeve and if you didn't know who the Avila Brothers were before 2010, you can never say no one ever told you aka stay tuned! These grammy award winning, LATINO brothers are so damn talented and have worked with some of biggest names in music - MJB, Usher, Missy, Leela James, Janet, The OJays, New Edition, Kenny Lattimore, Kelly Price, Gwen Stefani, Aretha Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Deborah Cox, and Heather Headley to name a few. They released an album a few years back and "I Want You" was the single that caught my ear. I heard it last week at a get together and was reminded of the duo. So, hit play for your listening pleasure.
I think I remember reading somewhere that Sade said she only puts music out when she feels it. The same goes for me and anything Moxie oriented. You see, Myss Moxie really has to feel motivated to say something...Yasmine talks all day for a living but Moxie is what is in my heart. Moxie doesn't blog or talk about the going's on with celebrity but when I do, and just in general I share stories that I think will help people grow by showing just how human they (celebs) are. Oh and I tend to go off on tangents...bear with me :-)
Back to the original point of this entry, today I woke up feeling a bit off, couldn't really place my finger on it but then I realized its because I'm reaching the limits of my comfort zone. I'm trying new things in pretty much every avenue of my life and we all know that growth, while utterly necessary, can be a tad uncomfortable. There are so many awesome things happening in Moxie's little world, I'm taking her to the next level this year. I know lots of folks say that but I've always been more of a "do-er" than a talker.
